0001 Drag Queen Story Hour
Sexualization of Children, Societal Decay and Ultra Progressive Liberal Insanity
Welcome to the Dissident Dispatch, Chuck Howell’s interview based podcast, where we question issues in culture, society, politics and health with alternative, outlier thinkers who are not afraid to speak truth to power.
Join me while we twerk our way through a wild Drag Queen ride!
In this Dispatch I start off with a story about how a friend and I were comically harassed by two seven feet tall drag queens years ago in a grocery store in the Deep South. The story is quite funny, I believe, as I do my best to imitate the deep ultra-trannie voice from that night.
I dive into the current modern insanity that is Drag Queen Story Hour, a little bit of history of who and why they started DQSH, how this phenomena is growing globally, and how convicted sexual offenders use these events to get close to children.
Then we listen to a sane drag queen who eloquently counters the moronic parents who are subjecting their children to the “queens” and why the parents decision is on par with having porn stars and strippers read their children books about sexual ideology, something they do not need to be subjected to at an early age. (duh!)
Finally, I wrap up this dispatch with a head spinning story about a drag show for a private high school in one of the oldest churches in downtown Manhattan, a French Gothic Revival masterpiece with queen Britta Filter as she “proceeded to strut and sashay down the aisle as if it were a runway” singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” I also discuss “The Gay Agender” a teacher at the high school who took the opportunity to announce her resignation at the pulpit because faculty did not call “them” by their preferred pronoun “they.”
0:20
I want to tell a little story just to kind of open this up. Some of you might find it funny, some may not. But I think it's a good way to start this dispatch.
When I was about 20 years old, this was in 1992, somewhere around there, this was a long time ago. A good friend of mine named James, him and I were going to get beer. I think on like a Friday night for a party. Honestly, I wasn't old enough to be drinking. James, he had the ID. So he was chosen to be the one to go buy the alcohol for everybody. And I just went with him to help him because we were getting, a few cases of beer.
We go to this grocery store back in my hometown in Northwest Florida. It's a large store. It's on Friday 9:30pm. They're about to close and there's only one cashier aisle open. We're cruising around the store, we go to the beer section, and it's down like this long aisle. We're loading up our shopping cart. These two people walk by the end of the aisle, they just immediately caught James and I's eye. Our eyes I should say, and we immediately look up over towards them. They're moving across the front of the aisle. They're going in between the aisles, like down on the end, so they weren't walking towards us. They were just walking past.
So we have like this quick, brief moment of these two figures walking past us. And we both look up at the same time. To our surprise, it's two guys dressed up in drag, fully made up, you know, wigs on, crazy makeup going on, they're in miniskirts.
They're not like big fat guys out of shape. They are buff looking dudes, they look like amateur basketball players. Tall, super built, and they're totally decked out. High heels. With the high heels on they look like they're about seven foot tall. I mean, they're just massive.
And we both look at them at the same time. I don't know if we said anything out loud. But it's kind of like this, like, oh, shit, type moment, you know, we look at these guys. They pass and they were looking at us when we saw them. So they saw the surprise on our face for sure. And we looked at each other and we're like, holy shit! What the hell is that?
2:25
You have to understand, this is back in 1990-91 or 92. Somewhere around there, in Northwest Florida, which is a fairly conservative redneck type area. It wasn't a common thing to see people in drag walking around.
So we get our beer, load up our shopping cart and we go to the checkout. Since there's only one checkout open. It's a long line. There's about seven or eight people. I guess since they're about to close down, everyone's pretty much gone home. There's this one girl, looks like she's in high school, just a little bit younger than I am at that time. And she's manning the cashier. There's about four or five people in front of us. We're not really paying attention to anybody behind us. But there's some people behind us and we're waiting in line. We're getting close to our checkout time and I hear behind me... well let me set the stage.
This night I had a t shirt on. It was back when the Red Hot Chili Peppers had come out with their famous album Blood Sugar Sex Magik. This shirt was, I think it was my buddy James's actually. He let me borrow it because I didn't have a clean shirt or something. I don't remember the situation, but it wasn't my T shirt.
I've got this shirt on. We're standing in line there. And off in the distance behind us this deep raspy voice says “blood… sugar… sex… magik... I'd like to chili, his pepper."
Everybody in the line, [laughing but trying not to laugh] nobody starts really like laughing hard or anything but everybody in the line. You can just hear multiple people going... [laughing but trying not to laugh]
As they're starting to laugh, but trying not to laugh. I see the girl's face in front of me. She just looks back, and gets like this smile on her face. She's trying not to laugh either.
I started to slowly turn around and my buddy James is standing he's like, don't look. No, don't. Don't do it. Don't do it. [strong but whisper tone] So I freeze up and keep looking forward. It's comical looking back then. And at the time, I wasn't angry or freaking out, but I was just super uncomfortable.
4:24
Anyways, we get the booze and we head out to the car and we're standing out in the parking lot. And I don't remember, I can't remember what the holdup was, but for some reason we couldn't get in the car. We were waiting on the person that had the keys.
We're standing out in the parking lot. There's hardly anybody out there and we're standing out there and these two guys come out all done up and they're walking over to their car, which thank God is kind of far away from us. They're kind of walking away from us but they're going... “Yewh hew boys, boys…” they're teasing us, like taunting us, nothing vulgar, but it was very uncomfortable. So finally they leave.
The point of me telling you this story right now is if you would have told me in 1991 or 1992, that those two guys were going to be at the public library on the weekend and reading stories to kindergartners and first graders for a thing called Drag Time Story Hour, or Drag Queen Story Hour... excuse me, I would say you're out of your fucking mind! Like, that's insane. That is total insanity. But here we are in 2022 and that is exactly what is going on right now.
All across the United States and in probably most countries in Europe, we've got men dressing up in drag, the politically correct word would be “female impersonators” but they're dressing up in drag. [and reading stories to young kids, I kind of lost my track here in the excitement]
Anyone who's seen people in drag, it's totally over the top. It's tacky, completely out of control costumes. They don't just kind of try and look like a woman, they try and look completely out of their minds, with glitter all over their face. You've got big fat guys with miniskirts on, it's just a complete perversion of what a real woman is supposed to look like.
It's one thing if adults would like to go to a gay bar or a nightclub at night, and experience a drag show, anybody should have that right to do that if they would like. I don't have a problem, if men want to dress up in drag, I think it's weird personally, and it's perverted. I think it's strange that some grown man would want to dress up as a woman, especially putting on crazy makeup and doing the whole thing, getting completely out of control with it all. But if that's something that a grown man wants to do, that's his own business. A grown adult, if he wants to do that, he should be free to do that.
6:38
The problem is when you have adults promoting drag queens to young children, and it's even more of a problem when you have this happening at publicly funded places like public libraries, which is where these Drag Queen Story Hour events usually go down.
I believe that any sane person will agree that children do not need to be sexualized.
So how did we reach this point to where now we have Drag Queen Story Hour being promoted all over the United States and much of Europe?
I want to read to you just a little bit of something I pulled off Wikipedia. "Drag Queen Story Hour are children's events first started in 2015 by an activist named Michelle Tea in San Francisco with the goals to inspire a love of reading while teaching deeper lessons on diversity, self love, and appreciation of others. Events, usually geared for children aged three to eleven, are hosted by drag queens who read children's books and engage in other learning activities in public libraries.
"This concept is seen as unconventional as the libraries are usually more reserved, and the Queen's traditionally are associated with bars and nightlife."
Yeah, that's correct, that's the way it should stay. The Queens should stay in bars. And if you want to go see drag queens, adults should be able to have the right to go see that. But you don't need to bring the bar and nightlife lifestyle of drag queens into a public library and read books to three to eleven year olds. It's insane!
You can teach diversity, self love and appreciation of others without having drag queens involved. I mean, it's ridiculous. Let me carry on here a little bit. "Jonathan Hamlet, who co founded the New York chapter as a nonprofit said that as of June 2019, Drag Queen Story Hour has 35 US and five international chapters."
Now if you go on their website, you can look and see all the states and the cities where they have chapters, it's quite surprising. It's interesting.
"The program strives to instill the imagination and play of gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive and unabashedly queer role models." I'm sure it does.
Now the girl Tea, the activists who started it. Michelle Tea, from San Francisco, who identifies as queer. "Came up with the idea after attending children's library events with her newborn son and finding them welcoming, but heteronormative. She imagined an event that was more inclusive and affirming to LGBTQ families."
Michelle Tea, she's not happy with just the regular old story hour, she's got to have something to combat "heteronormative." I never knew that was a word. What better way to do it! Let's bring in some drag queens, you know, let's get drag queens in there and read the stories, that'll do it! That'll teach diversity and inspire love of reading and teach self love and appreciation of others. Drag queens! It's perfect!
So we keep going down through the Wikipedia entry for Drag Queen Story Hour. "Other early Drag Queen Story Hour events in San Francisco featured several drag queens of color including..." and you'll love these names. "Honey Mahogany, Y'ves Saint Croissant and Panda Dulce." All right! Dulce means sweet in Spanish if you didn't know.
"As of 2020..." Now they're saying they're over 50 plus US official chapters, so it's spreading. It's spreading fast, and they "have reading events at libraries, schools, bookstores and museums." Probably three out of four are funded with your taxpayer money. And they're proud to say as well in 2017, "the New York chapter incorporated as a nonprofit and has received funds from the New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library and two city council members." I wonder about the city council members. I wonder which political party they're involved with? "The funds buy books, some Drag Queen Story Hour events do book giveaways. They go for paying the Queen's and training to ensure the Queen's talk effectively to children and their parents about gender identity and drag." So important. "The books read include children's classics, and works featuring LGBT characters and issues." Oh, it's so loving, I'm sure.
10:57
One of the popular books at Drag Queen Story Hour is "This day in June" written by Gail Pittman, and illustrated by Kristyna Litten which introduces the reader to the idea of an LGBTQ Pride Parade." That's just what three year old kids need to learn about, isn't it?
I don't know if anyone was paying attention this past June, the gay pride parades that were in Washington, DC, San Francisco and LA… there's a lot of good videos out there of stuff, some parts of those parades. There's all these drag queens, that just look like maniacs, dressed up and jumping around and twerking in front of people. There's parents there with their kids, their kids are literally trying to hide behind their parents and turning their heads, they [the kids] know it's all screwed up. And some of the parents are forcing their kids to watch this debauchery.
If you go over to dragqueenstoryhour.org, they have a nice write up about what it actually is. It's much like what I just read, but I'll just read a little bit here.
"Drag Queen Story Hour. It's just what it sounds like, storytellers using the art of drag to read books to kids in libraries, schools and bookstores.
"Drag Queen Story Hour captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves." Wow!
Let's hear a glowing review from the site. She is a first grade teacher in Brooklyn. Here we go...
"What an amazing way to teach individuality, empathy and acceptance. Drag Queen Story Hour gave my first graders a fun and interactive platform to talk and think about social and emotional issues like acceptance, being yourself and loving who you are. Through books, songs, arts and crafts, and movement activities, they explored these issues and had an amazing time doing it. During our debrief after drag queen story hour, they were preaching the incredible lessons they had learned, like it's okay to be different and there's no such thing as boy things or girl things. I was proud to be able to have Drag Queen Story Hour at my school and we will definitely be planning another story hour for next year."
Oh, I bet you will, I bet you will. We've got Drag Queen Story Hour going on at tax funded locations, places that are basically known for being very quiet and about education and learning, like libraries and museums and schools. Obviously, our tax dollars are paying for some of this. And what makes it worse is some of these drag queens are known sexual offenders. Now obviously, I'm sure not all of them are. I'm sure some of these drag queens are just trying to promote gay things, and they're not pedophiles.
Well, in Houston, Texas at a Drag Queen Story Hour. Apparently there was a whole bunch of drag queens there that were helping and they were reading, greeting and twerking. Two of them were sex offenders. Nobody looked into these people's records. A group named Houston Mass Resistance researched and found out about this and exposed it. Let me just read a couple of headlines and a little bit about it.
"Sex Offender Busted as Drag Queen Who Read Books to Children at City Library Houston, Texas."
"Alberto Garza, he posed as the drag queen Tatiana Mala Niña." Which, Mala Niña in Spanish means bad girl. "Garza assaulted an eight year old boy in 2008."
The other guy, the headline was "Second Drag Queen Story Hour Library Reader Exposed as Convicted Child Sex Offender."
"A second Houston public library drag queen was convicted of multiple sexual assaults against young children according to records uncovered by Houston mass resistance. The man has also written a lurid article describing his work as a transgender prostitute, and he was photographed at a Drag Queen Story Hour event carrying a rubber chicken, a symbol used by homosexuals to indicate a sexual preference for young boys. According to criminal records uncovered by Houston Mass Resistance Activists.
"Dees..", that's his name, "was convicted...", but not his stage name, obviously, that's his real name, "was convicted in 2004 of sex crimes against four young children ages 4, 5, 6 and eight, was jailed, and is listed as a high risk sex offender." This happened when he was 16 years old. Apparently his record is sealed. But imagine that, four young children, it's incredible.
And nobody's checking to the background of these guys? Okay, so we've got Drag Queen Story Hour Queens coming in to read books to the children in the library. Before I would think, okay, librarian... I remember there was always the little old lady in there, that's telling everybody to please keep the noise down. She's probably not expecting that there's potentially sex offenders. She's not even thinking about that!
Of course now, these days, I'm gonna guess from some of the images I've seen, some from public librarian employees where they're wearing shirts that say, “proud queer" or "I'm queer" all on the same day… That lady, she probably got fired. She was too conservative to be in a public position at a public library.
We've got sexual offenders getting close to young children, and reading them books about… perverse ideology, I mean let's just be honest. If you want to do perverse things, when you're older, and you're an adult, that's fine. But you don't need to be teaching homosexual ideology to young kids, in my opinion.
Of course, this all falls back on the parents, the parents are the ones that are bringing them there. Those people are, in my opinion, insane to bring their kids there. I mean, why am I even griping about this? I can't do anything about it if the parents want to bring them there for God's sakes, but those people need to be... Yeah... Moving on... [I did not want to say something I may regret]
16:47
We have two sexual offenders in Houston. And then...
"Judge Who Headed Drag Queen Story Hour Sponsor Cream City Foundation..." uhh I wonder what that's talking about? "An LGBTQ advocacy group is caught with child pornography. Judge Brett Blum was arrested and charged with seven counts of child pornography possession." Granted in the article where I pulled this from, he was not directly involved with drag queen story hour, but the Cream City Foundation that he headed up, at one point helped fund a Drag Queen Story Hour in Wisconsin.
I don't even know what kind of judge he is. I don't even want to waste any more time looking into it. He's obviously a pervert. And if he was caught with child pornography, good God, who knows what else he's been involved in dealing with children? I don't want to think about that. It's sad. And it's disgusting, to be honest, in my opinion.
The parents who are involved in taking their children to these events, you know, really need to be looked at. But that's not the way the system works in the United States. If you don't want to vaccinate your kid or something like that, then you'll probably get child protective services called on you. But if you want to take your kid to gay pride parades and a Drag Queen Story Hour, hey, that's all fine. You can do that. No problem!
All right. So moving on. I want to read a little bit from this lady named Candace Jackson, who was the former Deputy General Counsel at the Department of Education. Where she commented on children being targeted by drag queen activists. I think she says it 1000 times better than I can.
"Kids don't need to be queer. Kids don't benefit from being trained to transgress norms around sex. Kids don't thrive by being taught that hedonism or based desires never can be judged as immoral, or inappropriate.
"The defense and celebration of drag culture especially foisted on the children is a hallmark of the way classical liberal values of tolerance and self determination have been stretched beyond meaninglessness into nihilism. This is a shining example of the lengths to which contemporary progressives will go to prove to themselves how cool and non judgmental they are, and prove to conservatives how narrow minded and regressive they are denying the obvious, palpable, sexualized nature of drag as well as the mockery and stereotyping of women intrinsic to drag. And what perhaps is worst of all, they pretend that exposing kids to subversion of norms before a child has had a chance to absorb the norms themselves won't disrupt healthy child development."
Amen, sister! Let's get a little sanity up in here. It's pretty freaking obvious you don't need to sexualize your children.
I would like to play for you an audio recording of a very sane drag queen who lays it out perfectly. Why our children should not be going to these types of events.
Here you go. Here's the clip from the sane drag queen.
"What in the hell has a drag queen ever done to make you have so much respect for them and admire them so much? Other than put on makeup and jump on the floor and writhe around and do sexual things on stage.
"I have absolutely no idea why you would want that to influence your child. Would you want a stripper or a porn star to influence your child? It makes no sense at all.
"A drag queen performs in a nightclub for adults. There is a lot of filth that goes on, a lot of sexual stuff that goes on. And backstage, there's a lot of nudity, sex, and drugs. Okay? So I don't think that this is an avenue you would want your child to explore.
"They could explore dressing up at home, like we all did, like all gay boys did. We all dressed at home and we had a great time. We had a great time with our girlfriends, putting on makeup, trying on clothes, things like that. But to actually get them involved in drag is extremely, extremely irresponsible on your part.
"And I understand, you might want to look like you're with it, that you're cool, that you're woke, that you're not a Nazi, that you're not a homophobe, whatever, whatever it may be. But you can raise your child to be just a normal, regular everyday child without including them in gay, sexual things.
21:27
"And honestly, you're not doing the gay community any favors. In fact, you're hurting us. Okay? We have already had a reputation of being pedophiles and being perverts and deviants. We don't need you to bring your children around.
"So you keep your kids at home, or take them to Disneyland or take them to Chucky Cheese. But if you need your child to be entertained by a big human in a costume or in makeup, take them to the circus or something. When they turn 18, then why don't you take them to the clubs on their 18th birthday because it's an adult thing. Okay? So don't ruin your child's life. And don't ruin us because that's what you're doing."
Look, I don't want to go on all day about Drag Queen Story Hour. I have gone on more than I had expected. But let me just kind of wrap it up with a few things here.
Some people will listen to this and think that this is just a very fringe thing that's not going on very much. These Drag Queen Story Hours are only happening occasionally in random parts across the United States. And maybe that's true in the United States.
But in England, just recently, I found a post on Telegram that was showing there was basically a Drag Queen Story Hour tour for this summer break, throughout the country. The list of the locations and times of where this is going on throughout all of England is quite incredible. I counted over 70 events within about a six day period at the end of July and early August. I randomly Googled about 10 of these, just picking them from the list and every single one of them came up as a hit. They do exist and they're basically all in public libraries.
England is not a very large country. What's the population of England? I'm not even sure 30 - 60 million, something like that. And they're having a summer camp Drag Queen Story Hour tour blitzkrieg all over the country. That's absolutely insane!
This is going to be the last article I discuss because it's going to lead into the next show which will be about pronouns and the insanity that all entails.
"Students Pressured to Celebrate Pansexual Drag Queen at School Chapel as Teacher Resigns Over Misuse of Pronouns."
Students at Manhattan's Grace Church High School, a private school, every Wednesday, go to chapel. And on April 27 of this year in the chapel, they had a pride event, and it was the sixth annual pride chapel event. And this year it featured a special guest, the drag queen “Britta Filter.” Apparently the students were pressured to go to this pride event. And while they're at the event, one of the teachers took the opportunity to announce their resignation over "improper pronoun usage."
Imagine the strength that it took to stand up in front of that crowd of your students at the school, all listening intently to what you have to say. And imagine the strength to go up there... and just resign, because people aren't using your proper pronouns.
The students, some of them said, "there was tons of social pressure to dance along and pretend like it was normal." Yeah, that sounds fucking brutal! There are some pictures on this site I found. It's crazy to say the least. A big huge drag queen with a massive wig and jeans miniskirt, some big knee high orange boots dancing around in what looks like a really nice chapel.
Well, you find out this chapel is one of the oldest ones in Manhattan. I'm sure whoever built this chapel is rolling in their grave to know what it's being used for today.
Yelp, "she had electric orange go-go boots and a high hemmed blue baby doll dress. She proceeded to strut and sashay down the aisle as if it were a runway. Some students were dancing in the pews."
It mentions a little bit of twerking and some queer education. "Students asking themselves, I wondered, Is this really happening in a chapel?" Hey, glad the students… some of them have a little bit of sense. It's obvious the damn administrators don’t!
They had a performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I can imagine Britta up there just singing away. Brita Filter... "Somewhere Over the Rainbow... drag drag away." [my best singing voice] Gosh! Uhhh this is crazy.
Anyway, let's get down to The Gay Agender" teacher Nguyen. I guess that's how you pronounce, that, Nguyen. "The Gay Agender" that's what they like to be called.
So there's a picture of this lady who… or well, hell, I don't know, I'm not sure if it's a woman or a man. But she or he, I don't know. It's just The Gay Agender, aka teacher Nguyen. The Gay Agender talked about "how much they love the gay kids at school, and how this has been the most inclusive and accepting place they've ever been. But it's the administration she cannot work with. The administration is not supported of their identity." The Gay Agender "complained that there was no accountability for colleagues who misgendered them and didn't use her pronouns."
In a March interview for the school student newspaper, the grace Gazette, The Gay Agender said, "the school needed to have more training for faculty as regards to non-binary people like them. It's mandatory that faculty do some amount of anti racism training, my first week of meetings, were all just anti racism workshops.” Wow! The first week of meetings was just all about anti racism. It sounds so liberal.
"That's great and necessary and needed. I agree. I just wish that there was also gender diversity and acceptance training, how to be respectful of different identities and what not. That's not something that the school currently does, it's really hard for me to be able to be supportive and create a safe place for people, if I, myself am struggling to feel that for me."
27:18
So what pronouns do you like to be called by? Them, they, do I call you, he, she, it, ze, zer, he, hir? Well, we find out in the article, just a little bit farther down. The Gay Agender, Nguyen "came on as a full faculty member… that they wanted to be authentic to themselves." So this isn't a he or she or it, it's a they... plural! "And began looking for more respect and acceptance of non-binary pronoun usage, as well as for validation of their non-binary identity from students." We have to have the students validate.
These kids just learned about gender and English and pronouns, and it's pretty cut and dry. There are rules, but no, not in life. No, no, no, not in the modern life, you as a singular person can be called or be, excuse me, be referred to in the plural.
I want to go swimming. I guess you could say, we want to go swimming. We are going out tonight. What? I'm sorry. Who are you going out with? No, no, just myself. Well, ourselves. Okay. That makes perfect fucking sense.
All right. So the grace Gazette, reporting about their teacher Nguyen, The Gay Agender, talks about how "it's been really great and validating and gender euphoria-promoting."
Ahh the euphoria of trying to figure out what fucking pronouns people want to be called in 2022. No wonder people are so confused and have no idea what's going on and can't stand up against their governments or their controllers, that are ruining their lives with COVID lock downs and mandatory vaccine bullshit and surveillance and everything else you can imagine. No, no, no, no, no. Let's today… let's worry about if people are calling us by the right pronouns. We don't even know what fucking sex we are. How are we going to stand up and do anything?
This is where we're at today. Unbelievable. Un-believable! Back to Britta Filter, the incredible amazing drag queen that's in the chapel doing a show about over the rainbow. She had some very interesting "antics on her social media." I can't believe it. She likes to use the hashtag, or he likes or it likes to use the hashtag, #anythingbutpure.
"Grace Church is a French Gothic Revival masterpiece in downtown Manhattan. Built in the 1840s." Can you imagine the men and women who built that chapel in 1840, what they would think right now, if they saw Britta Filter dancing around and gyrating around in there talking about gay perverse ideology inside that chapel?
Those guys would roll in their graves. This is how far society has degenerated. It is degrading at a rapid, rapid rate. I hate that I have to come on and feel the need to record myself talking about this.
It's horrible to me to think that this is how far things have gone down in society.
Many people hear this talk that I'm giving, a rant really, and think that I'm a hateful person, that I'm non inclusive. That’s not it at all, if you want to do perverse, crazy things in your private life, that's fine. As long as you're not hurting anyone, that's fine, you should be free to do that. No one should tell you not to. Might be doing some things that some people won't agree with, but if you're not harming anyone, you're not being an asshole, have fun. But do not bring sexualization and perverse lifestyles, nightclub type lifestyles around little kids and do tours of it all across England.
30:54
And with that, I'm done here. That's enough for one day, this topic's wearing me out, wear's my brain out, makes me kind of angry that I have to talk about this nonsense.
So I'm gonna let it go at that until we go on to the next talk, I guess the moral of the story is be on the lookout, there's stuff being introduced to your children from all kinds of directions that most people would not agree with. [or not even imagine]
You have to be paying attention. You have to watch out for your kids.
You need to protest if these drag queen story hours come to your town. Nothing against the drag queens themselves, but you don't need to bring that shit around our kids.
And to the parents who are taking their kids to these types of events. You need to get your head checked. You need to really look deep down in your soul and figure out what's important to you. Because in my opinion, if you want to take your kids to Drag Queen Story Hours, you've got some serious fucking problems.
Thanks everybody, appreciate you listening to the dispatch today. It was not one I really wanted to, but I feel like it’s important. If nothing else people will understand my point of view on this.
